On Saturday, October 22nd, 2011, Youth Action is scheduled to help paint an auditorium for a high school in North Philadelphia as part of Greater Philadelphia Cares Day. Greater Philadelphia Cares Day is a marathon day of volunteer service dedicated to the school children of our region. This project is apart of the team’s monthly volunteer project program. Volunteer projects are an excellent way for team members to familiarize themselves with community issues as well. This year, most of Youth Action’s volunteer projects this year will focus on the team’s service theme which is education.
