Youth Action would like to thank our friends at Republic Bank & La Salle College High School for donating computers and computer software for students at Youth Action. Republic Bank donated nine laptops and seven desktops to Youth Action to go to students who did not have access at home. La Salle College High School IT Department donated computer software and installed windows 10 and the latest version of microsoft office to the computers donated by Republic Bank. Four of the computers are being utilized by YA to give students access to microsoft office and internet materials during Youth Action sessions.

One of YA’s ILP ’17 members who received a computer noted that they were incredibly thankful to Republic Bank & La Salle. She writes, “thank you for rewarding me  with a great resource that will help me excel in the near future. You have me the opportunity to finish projects, type essays, and complete assignments without the stress of going to the library or staying after school.”

Youth Action would like to thank Anne Paglia, VP/Compliance Manager at Republic Bank & Braden Bonner, Network and Website Administrator at La Salle College High School for coordinating this effort on behalf of their respective companies. This was an incredible collaboration to help several Philadelphia students gain access to computers in their home.
