The Inspiring Leaders ProgramThe Inspiring Leaders Program is a student led, civic engagement program that seeks to increase 9th and 10th grade Philadelphia high school student’s confidence, competence and awareness of socially relevant issues. Students will develop marketing, budgeting and communication skills in order to effectively and efficiently plan and execute a service project of their choice. All sessions will be held on Saturday mornings on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania. |

ILP FacilitatorsFacilitators are college student leaders from the Greater Philadelphia Area. They serve as first hand mentors to 9th and 10th grade Philadelphia High School students. Facilitators support and coach Greater Philadelphia high school students on how to organize service projects in their communities. Moreover, facilitators assist students in developing many of the skills they do not gain during their time in a traditional classroom. |

Why you should joinThere are many reasons why you should join the Inspiring Leaders Program. However, the most important reason is service. In the time that you spend with these students, you will be molding them into the leaders of tomorrow. In addition, you will be gaining community service hours and becoming part of a family.
