It has been a wonderful beginning of the second semester for the Inspiring Leaders students.  I have truly enjoyed getting to know each student – his or her strengths and weaknesses, and I’m confident we are going to have an exceptional year.  I’m taking this opportunity to send out an update so you can all stay in the know about our upcoming sessions and the great projects our students are working on.

What the Students Are Working On

What did we learn last semester?

The Fall semester was jam-packed with leadership development and activities! Some of the things we focused:

• Public Speaking

• Budgeting

• Overview of Project Planning

• Evidence-based arguments

• Current Social Events

What’s coming up?

This term the students will kick into high gear as the students begin working on their service projects. One group is working on a fundraising event to fight cancer! Another is putting together a night of artistic expression and peer-to-peer mentoring for high-school aged students.
