Thanks to our friends at GlaxoSmithKline, Youth Action was able participate in events at the Chester Youth Leadership Council to host an Adult and Youth Summit at Delaware County Community College (www.dccc.edu/) for approximately 1000 persons. The event was located at 901 Media Line Rd, Media, PA 19063 in the STEM Building from 8am – 4pm. It was a day of free seminars and expo booths that will cover topics in Health Awareness, Financial Literacy, Education, and Social Action. Sponsors for the event included companies such as Wachovia, J.P. Morgan Chase, GlaxoSmithKline, Chester Water Authority, Wawa, and the African American Museum of Philadelphia, just to name a few.
